Warning:
This is a REALLY long article. Could this article be the longest article I’ve ever written? I have no idea. If it’s not, it’s damn close. But please don’t let the length of this article dissuade you from reading it because not only is this (in my humble opinion) worth the length of time it takes to read, but important to read as well. Because of this, I’ve decided to bring back the BOF Bookmarks which I will place somewhere around every thousand words so you can take a break and come back to the bookmark to continue. Lucky you, huh? See? I’m looking out for you. 🙂 Feel free to take a break when you reach a bookmark. So— take a deep breath and let’s begin.
While I’ve rarely had the opportunity to engage in riveting intellectual conversations with fellow Americans standing in line waiting to purchase groceries, the only way one could gather enough information to form an opinion regarding the question above is completely dependent on how and where one gets their information. However, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the seemingly never ending disasters since Joe Biden was installed along with Democrats narrow grip on Congress. Yet as baffling as it may be, according to recent polling, 40% of American voters actually believe Biden is doing a great job. One possibility could be that many people have their heads buried in the sand because what’s going on in this Country doesn’t affect them personally. The incredible part about all this is even though 7 out of 10 people believe the US is heading in the wrong direction, people who actually are affected personally keep voting these idiots into office every single time which begs the question to the rational individual with the slightest modicum of common sense… why do they keep doing this? Could it be that a very large part of the American Public actually are this stupid?
And please don’t think this article is solely about national elections, because you can apply pretty much everything you’re reading to state and local elections as well. As our Midterm Elections draw closer, that is what this article will address in no particular order. I would be remiss if I didn’t add the caveat that the question I pose above does not reference one’s intelligence. The IQ of someone doesn’t necessarily mean he or she’s not thick as a brick when it comes to the use of everyday common sense in their decision making process or certain beliefs some hold so dear because they are definite head-scratchers.
What’s Important
If you believe the Polls, the issues below are most important to those who plan on voting in the upcoming midterm elections. If that is true, common sense tells us that these issues should be what candidates talk most about. But throughout recent history, that’s all they do. Talk. Republican or Democrat, they get up to the podium and complain, point fingers at the other guy and then tell us they will do everything they can to solve the problems facing our nation. The one thing they neglect to talk about is exactly how they plan on solving it. Only that they will work very hard to solve it if you choose them. The head-scratcher is they say these things with a straight face when the solutions to most of said problems are as evident as the nose on their faces. More mind-boggling is how many people not only believe them but they also believe what they’re saying is enough to capture their votes. And most times, it works! Let’s begin…
Crime
Watch any nightly news program and the first thing one concludes is that there are obviously not enough prisons in Democrat controlled cities. Year after year, it’s all the same. Rising crime rates. Nothing changes, more complaints, more excuses with the standard line by elected officials— “more work needs to be done” in an effort to pacify voters. Still nothing changes. With all the money they throw at problems, it just seems to get worse. On top of which, the voters in cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Portland, Seattle (just to name a few of the worst) through their vote, appear to be perfectly fine with all the crime (most without consequence) going on where they reside. DA’s refusing to prosecute criminals including cashless bail for violent criminals allowing them back on the streets committing more offenses towards law abiding citizen a few hours later. You have to ask, is this truly what people in these cities and states want regarding local and state government because if it is, then while the rest of us shake our collective heads in disbelief, we’re also very thankful that we don’t live in those city’s or states. How on God’s green earth are people like Lori Lightfoot getting elected allowing their Shithole City’s— to remain shithole City’s? You would think that after years and years of this, the residents would come to their senses and vote differently. But they don’t. What’s worse is these people want to extend their shithole-ness with their voting nationally in Congressional elections. Ask them why they keep doing this, most get angry, resenting being asked as they call you a racist. For some completely unknown reason to the rational mind, the residents of these places seeing the chaos they’re living through on a daily basis as normal. It’s been going on for so long, they know no differently. And what are we blasted with on the news lately? We need to hire more cops and that may be true but when it comes to Democrat controlled cities, what good does it do to make all these arrests when so few are ever prosecuted and if they are, it’s a slap on the wrist. How many more needless deaths have to take place in Democrat controlled cities before voters come to their senses and realize that the choices they’ve made in who they’re voting for at the very least the last twenty years just ain’t working?
Are there real solutions? Of course! I wrote an article about just that. Here it is. Solutions: Crime
Inflation/Economy
We’re told inflation is 8.5%? Trust me, I would jump up and down with joy if inflation was only 8.5%. You and I both know how far that is from the truth. Take anything you’ve purchased a year or so ago. Remember how much you paid for some of it? Groceries? Gas? Rent? Heating and cooling? You know, the stuff we pay for daily?— Monthly? 8.5% difference? Don’t make me laugh. If we take the cost of living in America today and compare it with the cost of living just a few short years ago, if we’re completely honest with ourselves, the real inflation rate is somewhere between 40 to 70%. Much higher in some instances but it sure as hell isn’t 8.5%. Why all the inflation you ask? Well, 30+ TRILLION in debt and the Great American Covid Giv-Away including billions of dollars to Ukraine— one of the most corrupt nations in Eastern Europe sure isn’t helping. In fact, once all this money leaves the US, we have absolutely no idea what it’s used for. This war in Ukraine is nothing more than Afghanistan 2.0 and these actions along with the actions of other countries is causing energy prices to soar throughout Europe and the US. Why are they doing this? Because they honestly believe[d] that by doing so would crush Russia financially. In actuality, the opposite is happening and while the idiots in power are snapping their fingers saying “Damn!”…. hundreds if not thousands will freeze to death this winter because of the energy crisis they themselves created. And don’t think for a second it’s just Russia and Ukraine when it comes to whats going on here in the US. Since his installation, Biden has gone to extraordinary lengths to get rid of the oil and gas industry at a time when there is no viable replacement and most likely won’t be for a long time to come. California Governor Newsom wanting all electric vehicles by 2035 when his energy grid can’t even begin to handle today’s energy needs? Not only did Californian’s vote this fool into office but when they had the chance to get rid of him, they voted against it. More recently is the student loan bailout which could add an additional One Trillion to the national debt. More on this later. The literal destruction of Trump’s energy independence policies along with our proxy war with Russia have contributed more to inflation than anything else and these idiots in Congress keep backing it.
The most comical aspect of all this is that Congress talks about billions of dollars as if it were grains of sand on a vast beach. They talk about taxing corporations when they know, I repeat— they know that additional cost will be passed on to consumers. And keep in mind as you hear about all this money being spent. Ever notice how vague they are? Billions of dollars for schools they say as if that will be enough. Most have no idea where or how those billions of dollars are being spent. What I find most bewildering is only 13% of allocated monies for schools is all that’s been spent. And how long ago did they get this money? So much for urgency. But remember this, it’s your money they’re referring to, not theirs.
Illegal Immigration
If there were ever a reason to impeach a President, what Biden has done in regard to illegal immigration would be at the top of the list. Through his willful policies and intentional executive orders, he has knowingly and intentionally aided and abetted human trafficking, human smuggling, sex trafficking including child sex trafficking and human trafficking for indentured servitude. He has also knowingly and intentionally aided and abetted drug trafficking resulting in the deaths of thousands of his fellow Americans. Through his policies, he has knowingly and intentionally aided and abetted in the deaths of hundreds of migrants attempting to cross our borders illegally. Biden has knowingly and intentionally aided and abetted the rapes of hundreds if not thousands of young women and girls by smugglers. And if that weren’t bad enough, Joe Biden has knowingly and intentionally aided and abetted Mexican Drug Cartels ability to do everything mentioned above while allowing them to make billions in the process to the point where the Cartels have become a threat to the national security of Mexico with the murder of thousands of Mexican Citizens trying to stop them. And don’t think for a second that it all ends when these illegal migrants are released into the US. How many of these people would you guess are still beholden to Cartels in some form or another for money they most likely still owe for their services? And because of this, how many of these people would you guess will end up working for the Cartels on the US side of the border?
In less than two years, there have been close to two million illegal migrants pouring into the United States with little to no vetting as to who they are and more worrisome, close to an additional one million who evaded border patrol agents. We have absolutely no idea who they are or why they’re here yet because of Biden’s policies, they are here. Should a 9-11 type incident ever take place in the future, while we’ll be able to lay the blame for it directly in Joe Biden’s lap, that won’t bring innocent Americans back from the dead. And let’s not forget the daily deaths from Fentanyl poisoning here in the US. Democrats, including some Republicans appear to be fine with all this because they all had to have known this would be the outcome but as of yet, done absolutely nothing about it.
It’s just too complicated those in Congress say invoking their go-to line… “More work needs to be done” as they seek yet another term in office. Personally, I was always under the impression that the issue of immigration was solved back in the late 1980’s with reforms passed and signed into law by Ronald Regan. Obviously, this wasn’t the case other than to get the public to shut up because they at the very least passed something that had to do with immigration reform. And it did exactly that. People became pacified. You didn’t hear too much about the issue even though illegal immigrants continued to cross the border throughout the following 15 to 20 years and because of this, what did we get? Dreamers, the children of illegal aliens who through no fault of their own, entered the US with their parents, forgotten about for twenty years. That huge can of worms was opened by the Obama Administration (of course) who created an executive order allowing these Dreamers to remain in the US for the time being. Seeing as I always thought executive orders could be rescinded by the next President should he choose to rescind them, I was surprised when Trump was unable to do this by the Courts. Interestingly enough, DACA is still alive and well in the Courts… waiting…. and waiting.
With everything going on at the US/Mexican border, you have to ask the question. Democrats impeached Donald Trump over a phone call? Seriously? Joe Biden and his administration have turned a blind eye to the crisis at the border. They act as if there’s nothing to see. Just move along, move along. They have completely ignored the ramifications of and by their actions with the full knowledge of the results that would take place because of them. His intentional inaction to rectify colossal, disastrous executive orders and policies resulting in what we’re witnessing today, his flagrant disregard and constant attempts to skirt federal law regarding illegal immigration should be more than enough (among many reasons) to throw this complete inept fool out of office as soon as possible.
As far as solutions to the debacle at the border, I invite you to read my article: Illegal Immigration: Solving the Border Crisis.
I’ll have more to say (lucky you) when we get to the epilog but for now, I’ll end this segment with to all who want open borders here in the US. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Sanctuary cities like New York, DC and Chicago have recently received just a minuscule taste of what being a sanctuary city actually entails. And they want US taxpayers to bail them out? Not on your life. (He said figuratively). And by the way, you keep hearing from Democrats and liberal pundits declaring our immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed but what they don’t tell you is in what way it’s broken. The bottom line is, you come into this country illegally, you get sent home. Full stop!
You know who I feel most sorry for? The illegal immigrants who believe that just because Joe Biden is President and Democrats have a slim majority in Congress they will be able to stay. Sadly, they couldn’t be more wrong. Biden’s push for mass amnesty for them will not prevail and when Republicans take the House and most likely the Senate in just weeks I guarantee you, they will settle this so-called broken immigration system once and for all and most everyone who entered this country since Biden will not be happy about it.
Education/Indoctrination
Now one would imagine this would be not only a no-brainer but an issue voters should require a concrete standing on from any candidate. Whether you have children or not, what’s going on within our public school system will eventually affect us all. In fact, this should be one of the top three issues that outweigh others in who you vote for. This should be a non-negotiable. Disagreeing with a candidate on smaller issues should by no means dissuade you from giving them your vote should you agree with their stance on Public Schools and the manner in which our children are being taught.
I’m going to save myself a lot of typing by borrowing a section from my article The Great American Divide to further address this issue.
Forgive my French but there is no public institution who have fucked up the minds of kids more than our public school system. Especially in Democrat controlled states. It used to be a kid had to be in college before they were exposed to this garbage such as CRT and Gender. This is no longer the case in some schools where teachers are handing out condoms to fifth graders and teaching eight year old girls how to masturbate while allowing young boys learn how to give and old man a blowjob through the gender equality books they push. If this were happening anywhere else, these people would be jailed for child abuse. Thankfully, this is not taking place in all cities and states but it’s still being taught in many. And you wonder why so many kids are completely confused. Some to the point of suicide. It’s difficult enough for many to get past puberty without all this bullshit being heaped on them by student activist teachers with green hair and lip rings— who they themselves were indoctrinated just years earlier. In case you missed it, that always was and still is the plan. That was the only redeeming value regarding Covid-19. With all the school lock-downs resulting in remote learning, parents got the chance to see how their children were being taught. Most were horrified which is why you’re seeing so many school boards flip conservative with many more to follow. If it weren’t for Covid-19, we wouldn’t have given school boards a second thought.
Learning levels in grades k through 12 have now sank to the lowest in recorded history with 35% of all 4th graders not being able to read at their level. This should disgust all parents but fear not. These kids are good at holding up protest signs on issues they know absolutely nothing about, using a condom and masturbating. Are all public school teachers this way? Certainly not. The trouble is, you don’t hear about the good ones that often. The only way this gets back to normal where kids are taught the basics is when school choice becomes an alternative. Sadly for most parents, the public school system has a monopoly on their kids.
What I find truly remarkable is how many appear to be onboard with this insanity. I use the word appear because we can only go with the reports we see and read from the media. Is this as widespread as the media makes it out to be or is it limited to mostly Democrat controlled cities and states? I’ll use the word again— it appears to be concentrated in Democrat controlled cities and states. Is this really the way voters in these areas want children to be taught? And remember, while you may agree with a small part of this lunacy, it’s all or nothing when it comes to this way of teaching and more importantly, they’re trying to teach this curriculum to kids at a time in their lives when they are most impressionable. Hence the term— indoctrination.
Think I’m wrong or over-blowing this issue? Take a look and you be the judge.
Now I posted the article: The War on Children on Feb.3, 2021. Think anything has changed since? You’d think so, wouldn’t you? But no, breaking news 9-14-2022…
and there are people totally behind this manner of teaching. Remarkable.
Healthcare
Look at any of the polling and healthcare will be somewhere at the top of most lists. I wrote a three part series on this topic explaining why in my opinion, any form of universal healthcare will not only fail but will end being a total disaster for the American public. You can read Part 1 here with links to additional parts at the end of each article.
The point is— all it takes is to look at the housing bubble that just about collapsed our economy and more recently, this student loan bailout that could cost Americans upwards of one trillion dollars and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to conclude that outside of social security and medicare (which was basically set up for the elderly) everything the government touches regarding money and services for America as a whole turns to complete shit and at the same time ends up costing ten times more. While some form of Universal Healthcare might look good on paper, it never works out the same way when implemented. For more on this, feel free to read my articles.
Energy
Again, I’m going to save a lot of typing and refer you to my recently posted article The Cold Hard Truth About the Energy Crisis. Want to be enlightened? Watch the video that accompanies it. I know, I know— it’s Tucker Carlson who for some completely unknown reason (for some of you) seems to be the bane of your existence. Set your unfounded hate aside for a few minutes and watch the video, you may just learn something as I extend a warm thank you to Tucker for time and effort saved.
Another article I wrote recently touching on this topic is a new series called Just a Thought. Feel free to check it out.
Election Integrity
You have to ask the question. Why wouldn’t any sane, rational individual want their elections to be honest and secure? Why are Democrats so fiercely opposed to voter ID or requiring some form of secure manner in order to cast your vote? You hear all the completely bogus arguments why it’s completely unfair to minorities especially when one has to show an ID card simply to purchase a cigarette lighter at a Dollar Store. In all honesty, this should be an insult to minorities.
In light of the fact that millions of people believe (I include myself) that the 2020 election was stolen, one would imagine that certain states would bolster their election laws. Some have, some haven’t. Or at the very least, enforce the laws they have in place instead of allowing a judge to change them out of hand with the stroke of his pen like what happened in Pennsylvania in 2020.
This should be another non-negotiable to all voters. Want honest elections? I wrote an article that solves the problem once and for all called— New Rules for Honest Elections. You’re welcome.
Abortion
Again, to save myself more typing, I’m going to borrow my thoughts on this topic from a previous article: The Great American Divide.
Take the Supreme Court ruling regarding abortion for example. It doesn’t matter how many times you’re told that contrary to the beliefs of really ignorant people (which include many on mainstream media,) abortion has not been banned in the United States. Restricted? Yes, in many states it’s legal up to 15 weeks which to me sounds more than reasonable. No matter what reason or situation a woman finds herself pregnant, it’s shouldn’t take more than 15 weeks to make a decision whether or not to end a pregnancy. After that, should you decide you don’t want to be a parent then have a chat with the father. Perhaps he does want to be a parent and in many cases would agree to full custody and you relinquishing all financial responsibility for the child. You’ll never have to see the kid again. But don’t expect to have your cake and eat it too. Sounds harsh? Well, better than killing the kid, right? Another avenue (if the father also wants no part of the child) is placing the child up for adoption. This alternative is rarely talked about. Perhaps it is but I’ve never heard the topic of adoption included on the news when the subject of abortion is brought up. From what I understand, there are many programs to support women financially and emotionally when they’re grappling with an unwanted pregnancy.
Women have absolutely every right NOT to get pregnant.
The last thing I want to do is turn this article into one on abortion so I’ll make two more comments and move on. First, people on the left scream and yell that this is about their reproductive rights and I agree. Women have absolutely every right NOT to get pregnant. But once you do become pregnant, it’s no longer just about you. What part of that do you not understand? Secondly— personally,I could never understand why women would want to take the risk of getting pregnant in the first place. (Unless it was the goal) When ever the subject was brought up I have always responded in the following way. If a woman doesn’t want the risk of pregnancy, then stick to oral sex and toys. Feels just as good (if not better) with the same results. I have never known a woman to get pregnant under those conditions. Just about everything we do in life is accompanied with a degree of risk. Including vaginal sex. How many times do we hear from women, “I took all precautions. I was on the pill, used a condom and I still got pregnant.” Well? That’s the chance you take but at least you get a 15 week grace period in which to rectify your unintentional miscalculation. I’ve said it many times— 99% of everything that happens in your life is your responsibility. Good or bad, you either created it or allowed it to happen.
Equity
Yet another numskull issue that if not removed from the public sphere, will contribute to the downfall of society as a whole and more importantly the further degradation of minorities growth not only intellectually, but morally— spiritually as well.
Equity is the final stage of the dumbing down of America. Instead of striving for excellence in our schools, instead of challenging students to become better more resourceful individuals— learning institutions are handing them participation trophies declaring that they’ve done enough to just squeak by. They ended honors or advanced learning for gifted students because they feel it’s just not fair to others? And what becomes of these (mostly minority) students who are now failing at every turn being consoled by their teachers that it’s not their fault. White privilege is to blame for their inadequacies and because of that, they’ll all get passing grades for at least participating. They learn very little but turn out to be very good worker bees, welfare recipients, protestors, sex workers, gang members or criminals but at the very least— staunch Democrat voters because they know no better.
Equity has turned everything mediocre.
And it’s not just our schools which are failing miserably. The new motto from young adults appears to be the same. Just getting by is fine because with equity, they no longer have to be concerned about competing for a job or promotion with someone on merit. Just as long as they check the equity box. Equity has turned everything mediocre. You can see it in theaters, in the workplace and in service industries. Even Big Tech is aware of this, recruiting individuals from other countries because being just good enough while checking an equity box is definitely not good enough for them.
What’s NOT important
Yes, as I write this segment of this article, I’m mentally preparing myself for the tons of hate mail I’m sure to receive but do me a favor and hear me out before you close the screen with hateful discontent and throw your phone or computer into the nearest body of water while racing to find another way to shoot me off that email with every phobic name racing through your mind. Let’s start with the easy one.
Climate Change
Contrary to popular belief of those Climateers on the left, I think it’s safe to say that the world is not going to end or become irreparably damaged in the next 10 years or 100 years for that matter. Anyone who believes otherwise are either out of their ever-lovin’ minds or will be profiting off the billions of dollars soon to be wasted from a recently passed climate bill not so cleverly disguised as The Inflation Bill which would never been passed on it’s own merit. Want to know how all this works? Read my article titled The BIG Con. And who have these idiots in power at the moment chosen to dole out 370 billion dollars? None other than John Podesta? Seriously? Another Clinton hack? Sure, nothing to see here, move along. (he typed with extreme sarcasm).
For those of you who are unaware of who John Podesta is, feel free to do a little research and after your head gets close to exploding from what you learn about this guy, make it a point to never vote for a Democrat again. At least any Democrat with the power to appoint a man like John Podesta to oversee the spending of billions of dollars.
Bottom line is, trying to replace fossil fuel at a time where viable/feasible technology is years in the future is not only reckless and incredibly dangerous it will end up costing the lives of thousands this winter when they freeze to death due to a lack of affordable energy. All due to voting in Senators and Representatives who backed this. Think I’m wrong? Again— read my recently posted article The Cold Hard Truth About the Energy Crisis.
LGBTQ-and every other letter
A touchy subject indeed— at least to those who have no desire to discuss it. Just shut up and do as your told. If you don’t then we’ll label you a bigot, racist, homophobic and any other name we can think of as we flip you the bird and run off to our safe spaces.
Personally, I’m amazed this issue is on any radar but leave it up to the liberal media to keep it in the spotlight. I’ll repeat now what I’ve said in many of my articles— I’m a live and let live kinda guy. Live your life however you want just as long as the way you live your life doesn’t interfere with the way I live mine and vice versa. Want to have a pride parade seeking reaffirmation of your life’s choices from those in the parade and on the sidelines? Go right ahead, no one is stopping you but forgive me if I don’t attend. Drag queen shows on TV? Knock yourself out but I hope you’ll forgive my not watching it. Gay couple rom-coms on the Hallmark channel? Be my guest, I’ll be more than happy to change the channel. Even though I may not agree with the road you’ve chosen to place yourself on, I will never support anyone who wants to force you off of it legislatively.
By the same token, don’t force me to use whatever pronouns you’ve deemed representative of who or what or how you identify yourself. Don’t expect me to support the mutilation of young boys and girls who lack the maturity to make permanent life altering decisions when it comes to their bodies and I’ll be damned if I support anyone who want’s to teach impressionable young minds that the way a minuscule part of society live their lives is normal or that it should be celebrated. Do as you like when you’re an adult. Try to convince any other adult whatever you like, that’s up to you and those willing to listen to you. And don’t force a baker to make a cake depicting something for you that goes against everything they believe in just so you can laugh saying “See? Made you do it!” If there’s that much call for that type of product, I’m certain there is someone in your town who would be more than happy to take your money.
Allowing biological men to participate in women’s sports? Allowing biological men to use women’s locker rooms at gyms? Have you lost your minds? Want to solve this issue in thirty days or less? Here’s how you do it. Any woman’s sport which allows biological men to participate, all women have to do is completely boycott the sport they’re involved in. Just don’t show up for practice, training and any competitive event. Any gym that allows biological men to use women’s locker rooms including showers, simply cancel your membership. Yes, it actually is that easy and within 30 days, problem solved because as Ilhan Omar said…. “It’s All About the Benjamins— Baby.” When the money stops coming in, I guarantee you, everything goes back to normal.
Are there more issues not mentioned above? I’m sure there are— to some, but that would turn this already very long article into a small book. Who knows, perhaps in the future but for the time being we still have yet to answer the question. Are Americans that Stupid?
So which is it? Stupidity? Ignorance?
Complacency? All of the above?
Personally, I’d have to go with all of the above with a BIG helping of stupidity. Now, for some of you who have made it this far thinking I’m just some Republican hack, please allow me to reassure you that while I am a conservative, I belong to no political party, nor am I affiliated with a political party. The opinions I have, and have written about— including my books are based purely on what I’ve seen, researched and read about. Truth be told, I’m no different than the average individual with the exception being, I write about it and hope that you, the reader gives what I write some thought or at the very least let’s you know that you’re not the only one who thinks the same way you do. Speaking of my books— hint.
So if the answer actually is all of the above, the very next question is… Why? When the writing on the wall is out there for everyone to see, when 78% of all Americans (according to the polls) truly believe the United States is heading in the wrong direction— one would think it’s a no-brainer that the only way to rectify this (at least for the time being – more on this in a minute) is to vote for the other guy. But this doesn’t seem to be happening. Again, according to some polls, many House and Senate races are very tight which I find astonishing.
For many of us, this is not an issue. Many of us live in states controlled by Republicans. And keep in mind, it’s not just US Representatives and US Senators— more crucial (again, more on this in a bit) their State Legislatures have a Republican majority as well. This is extremely important. I promise, I’ll get to it. But you don’t hear, see or read about chaos, crime and those in power allowing this to continue in Red States. On the contrary, the craziness all seems to take place in cities like New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland. Crime completely out of control with the rest of us looking up as we thank GOD we don’t live there. Again, writing on the wall yet— more breaking news…..
For a more in depth view, watch the video below also to better understand why this is happening. Trust me, will save me typing and this article is long enough already.
Mainstream Media Sweeping
Everything Under the Rug
Unless people are living under a rock, the statement that had voters known about Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell and the Biden Family Corruption before casting their vote, would have changed the outcome of the 2020 election is a tad difficult to buy into. Then again, when it comes to politics and what mainstream media decides not to tell their viewers, I imagine the statement could in fact be plausible. Remember, there is no law requiring the media to tell you the truth which includes myself as well. I could be lying through my gills and you have three choices. (1) Either trust that I’m telling you the truth in what I base my opinions/conclusions on or (2) do your own research and come to your own conclusions or (3) get triggered, cease reading, call me a few choice names and return to your misguided beliefs. If we have learned nothing over the past 6 years, we know that truth plays little to no role in left wing media. It’s all about the Optics. The truth can come out later after the goal for the lie was accomplished.
But don’t take my word for it. Just for shits and grins (always liked that saying,) no matter where you get your news from— every once in a while take a look at Fox News and you’ll notice a huge difference in what is reported on. I enjoy doing this from time to time just to see the difference and believe me, there is definitely a difference.
For more on this— I highly recommend you read my three part series called: Media and the Truth. The first two articles are relatively short but give yourself a little time for part three. You won’t regret it.
Political Ads
I don’t know about you, but I can say with complete honesty that I have never voted for anything or anyone based solely on a Political Advertisement. If you do, then my friend I can say with equal honesty that you actually are that stupid. Seeing that most political ads look like they were designed by a third-grader, the first that comes to my mind after seeing one is— I wonder how much money they paid for this horrible ad? Probably thousands. The second thing that comes to mind is whether or not I should send them my number. (I never do).
By virtue of the paragraph above, I’ve always found it interesting the millions of dollars political parties (notably the Democrat Party) along with sorted dark money and Superpacs spend on advertising for their candidates. While history tells us it must make a significant difference, I for the life of me can’t understand why. If one simply spends just thirty minutes of research on a particular candidate and finds out whether or not he/she will represent at the very least your views on what’s most important to you, you now know more than any ad can convey. It’s rarely 100% but it should be on issues you feel are non-negotiable. If not, find another candidate.
Political ads should be viewed in the same manner we view ads we see during a Superbowl. Some entertaining, most saying absolutely nothing of substance with everyone wondering as I do, how much money these companies threw away in producing and airing them.
Down Ballot Voting
Not a bad idea for those living in cities and states where everything is pretty much hunky-dory. So much so that many run unopposed in their re-elections. What’s the old saying? If it ain’t broke— don’t fix it. There’s a lot of elected people in office today and most have no clue who they are, even those who voted for them. Simply being a Democrat or Republican is enough for most voters which for decades has been the way it worked. Most people have no clue who their State Senators or Representatives are. The only time it’s get dicey for these politicians is if the voters want change as a whole where they reside. That’s when it trickles down to their offices. When we cast our ballots, we pretty much know who we’re voting for nationally. After that— it’s pretty much whether or not the candidate has a D or R next to their names which is making Democrats (at this moment) even in local and state elections very nervous. School board elections are a good example. Now that the public has seen what’s really going on in our Public Schools, school boards are flipping conservative everywhere. Where as before, school boards and their members were never given a second thought, people now are paying attention. A good thing indeed.
While being equally guilty of the following, nevertheless, I’m surprised how little attention is given by my fellow voters when it comes to state and local elections. Perhaps it’s just me but I can tell you I have absolutely no idea who the mayor of the city where I live is. Pretty pathetic… huh? But it’s true as I’m sure it’s true for others as well. The only time we vote a particular way or begin to pay real attention in who we vote for is when what’s going on in State and Local governments affect us personally. Sure, we do the same thing in national elections as well but it’s State Government decisions that affect the residents more-so than those in Federal Government which is the reason why I don’t pay much attention. Why? Because fortunately, I’m in that Hunky-Dory category. No craziness going on where I live. If you can’t say the same where you reside, then you may want to do a little research before you cast your vote.
Nothing can drive a city or state to ruination faster than those we elect to State and Local governments. Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Memphis, Atlanta, Baltimore are just a few which come to mind. States like Maryland, California, Illinois, Washington, Oregon, New York, Georgia are also top of the list. You have to ask the question. Is everything going on in these states what the people who reside in these states want? If the answer is a resounding NO!— then why do the residents keep voting the same way? If elected prosecutors choose not to prosecute violent crime in their cities, why do they keep getting re-elected? It baffles the mind. We hear about disasters coming from these cities and states constantly yet voters there keep voting in the same people expecting changes. All the rest of us do is shake our heads in disbelief. I realize many did not vote those clowns into office and in as much as that is true, it doesn’t change the fact that the majority did and that is the part I have a difficult time understanding. Watch the video above again— it defies all logic and common sense. One would imagine watching New York City becoming a shithole city primarily as a result of their cashless bail law would be enough to never consider doing the same in another city, let alone an entire state but that’s exactly what Illinois did. It truly is incredible.
Getting Hooked on Free Stuff
What do I get for free and you’ll have my vote. I wonder how many people cast their vote for that reason alone. Probably more than I imagine. Gotta love that free stuff. For some unknown reason, there are many who are perfectly fine living on the dole (welfare.) Most eat better with all the money in food stamps they receive than people who work for a living. Add the housing subsidies and all you have to worry about is your internet connection to keep you entertained day after day. Some might say the above comment is unfair and to those who are using our welfare system as a last resort, doing their best to make sure to get off it as quickly as possible then yes, to those of you it is an unfair comment. That being said, this is not the case for millions of voters. They cast their votes for socialists because that’s how they live. This is a very dangerous mindset and I’ll tell you why.
Think of it like a drug dealer. At first, you get the drugs for free, The dealers see it as a cheap investment knowing that in short time, you’ll get hooked. What happens after you’re hooked? Now you have to begin paying for your addiction. But you don’t have the money. What happens next? Your guess is as good as mine. Prostitution? Sex work? Mugging? Looting? Shoplifting? (just as long as it’s less than 950.00.) They’ll do whatever it takes to keep those drugs flowing until it eventually kills them.
To a degree, the same thing happens when you vote for free stuff. In order to get all that free stuff, you continue to vote for the same people who enact more and more legislation giving them more and more power over you. Once they’ve reached the point of no return, when their power can no longer be taken away because you’ve diluted your vote to such an extent it no longer matters or makes a difference— that is when all that free stuff is no longer free because they no longer have a reason to offer it. They own you.
Again, don’t think for a second that the millions of illegal migrants actually had the full price for their trip into the US facilitated by Mexican Cartels. And what do you think will happen if they don’t pay the balance? Answer? One can only imagine with none of it being good. Unfortunately, many will have no choice other than working (slavery) for the Cartels— here in the US.
A Referendum and a Warning
In all likelihood, yes— Republicans will regain the House and most likely the Senate but by virtue of the fact that we still have a complete moron sitting in the oval office with his hand on his veto pen, don’t expect to see any major changes. The best we can hope for is the craziness slows to a minimum until he’s gone. With what has transpired during these last two years, one would have to be out of their minds to vote for any Democrat. That being said, history shows us that Republicans aren’t much better. For some reason, when Republicans take power, many flip the stupid switch so badly that even I can’t make sense of it. Like Lindsey Graham getting on national TV saying he wants a Federal BAN on abortions after 15 weeks. How freaking stupid can you be? Right when Roe is overturned and sending the entire issue back to the States to do with as they please with many already adopting the 15 week limit, he gets on TV as says that? Lindsey Graham and some of the shit coming out of his mouth at times is the perfect example of a Republican flipping the Stupid Switch. And I kinda like the guy. (Article on this coming soon.)
So while these midterms will most certainly be a referendum on Democrats and what they’ve done over the last two years, it will also be a warning to Republicans— They’ve got two years to fix as much as they’re able to knowing they’ll get a slight pass on certain issues because Biden is still in office. They better not screw it up for 2024 (which they have a propensity of doing at times). And if they are fortunate enough to win Congress and the Presidency in 2024, they’ll have at least another two years to finish what they began in 2023. Meaning— fix the damn immigration problem once and for all. Finish the border wall. Finish the keystone pipeline. Get back to energy independence, just to name a few but above all else, get all this done legislatively instead of through executive orders which can be stopped at the drop of a hat by someone else. Also equally important is to take into consideration that much of what you’ll attempt to do will be challenged in the courts, many times tying it all up until the next elections so it can be stopped altogether. On issues where this tactic can be implemented, accomplishing this sooner is a whole lot better than later. Get rid of the RINOS because they will be the ones who will throw a wrench into everything common sense Conservatives will try to accomplish. Do nothing but hold one public hearing after another (as important as they will be) and watch how fast the changing of the guard will be in 2024. The American Public has just about had it with both Republicans and Democrats and this will be your last chance as a legislative body to finally get it right rather than rely on a President to do your work for you through executive orders. Have all of this ready to go the very first day of the new Congress. Wait at your peril.
1. Keep Emotions Out of It
Who would you rather have operating on you— a complete asshole who is the best in his field or the nice guy who graduated in the lower 30% of his class? If you have to think about this then all I can say his, I hope you have a good will prepared. If the only reason you’re casting a vote for someone is just so you can stick-it to the other guy or just because the person you know is right for the job is sadly lacking in his people skills, then be prepared for another Chicago. And who in their right mind wants their city to turn into another Chicago? Believe it or not, there are those who do.
2. Know Who You’re Voting For
Everybody lies. And when it comes to elections, it can sometimes be difficult to tell who is telling the truth. Some of the worst and at the same time most obvious lies are from the media, political advertisements and sadly, the Politicians themselves. So put all of that aside and simply look at the candidates’ record. Their history. Who they are and where they stand on issues which are important to you. That being said— if you happen to live in Hunky-Dory’ville mentioned earlier meaning your a happy camper then by all means, save yourself a ton of time and re-elect the incumbents. But if you’re not, it pays to do a little research before you vote.
3. Know what your voting for
Know the issues. Sometimes the ballot people get a little sneaky in the way they phrase a question you’re about to vote on. Yes actually means no— and sometimes no actually means yes which is the main reason sample ballots are available. It gives one the opportunity to study it before casting their vote.
4. Non-negotiable’s
Whether it’s personal relationships or who you vote for to run things, non-negotiables are extremely important. If you’re not sure what I mean by this then hop over to Amazon and purchase my book The Instructional Guide to a Great Relationship with a Basket of Fish. It will be the best money you’ll ever spend. (You’ll have to scroll past three other exceptional books to find it.) Elections are slightly different and ofttimes wind up being the lesser of two evils as opposed to the right person for the job candidate. The only suggestion I can offer is stick to your non-negotiable’s or perhaps revisit them and see if you can find a workable compromise in the way you feel about them.
But here is the dilemma which I write about in The BIG Con and this is important. Sometimes, you’ll find a candidate who shares your views on issues important to you. However, everything else they stand for are completely opposite. This is where you have to weigh out the Pro’s and Con’s before you cast your vote. You have to look at the big picture and possible disastrous consequences when considering who and what you’re voting for. Again, look at all the Democrat controlled cities mentioned throughout this article. Remember, they’re in the toilet because their voters put them there. Don’t want to be like those cities? It’s actually pretty simple, at least this time around. Best to stick with the candidates with an R next to their names. You may not get exactly everything you want, but at least your city and state will either stay out of the toilet or finally be able to start climbing out.
5. Common Sense
I always find it amazing when you hear politicians talk about everything they plan on accomplishing if sent to Congress with your blessing. More often than not, it never happens. Not only that, in many instances, they never had the ability to foster a particular promise in the first place. A candidate promises to pack the Supreme Court, abolish the electoral college— as much as some would actually like to see that take place, we all know it will never happen. Take all the pie in the sky rhetoric with a grain of salt. Again, look at the Big Picture and determine which candidate is the best fit for you in how you want to be represented. If you are 100% in support of teaching CRT in public schools, then vote for the candidate who shares your views. If you’re 100% in support of allowing biological men compete in women’s sports? Same thing. Wait, on second thought, you may just want to sit out these midterms and seek out a good therapist.
6. The Results from Making a Poor Choice
Probably one of the most important. The video above you watched earlier— I can’t think of a better example of people making poor choices. Remember, the choices you make when you vote lasts two, four and six years. That’s how long you can be stuck with a poor choice. Sometime even longer. As I said earlier after the video, who in their right mind would want to live in a state remotely like Illinois knowing what will happen in January, 2023. You think the exodus from states like California and New York are huge? It won’t compare to the amount of people who will leave Illinois next year. So keep that in mind. What’s the worst case scenario with a Democrat majority within a State’s legislature compared to the same with a Republican majority. It hasn’t worked out to well for states and cities controlled by Democrats, has it? Above all else, remember this. If you’re planing on voting for a Republican Governor in your state, you damn well better give republicans the majority in that state’s legislature because if you don’t, very little change will take place. To me, it makes absolutely no sense to have a Republican Governor with a Democrat controlled state legislature. Or vice versa.
7. The Last Tip
When all else fails to make up your mind in who or what you cast your vote for, just ask yourself two questions. (1) Are you better off now than two years ago? and (2) are you happy with your state and local government and the way it’s being run? If the answer to the second question is yes, then Congrats! You two live in a Hunky-Dory city and state like myself. Voting will be a piece of cake because after casting our ballots, we know we’ve done everything we could do to keep our city/state Hunky-Dory. If your answer to the first question is no, then it’s time for a change. Even if it means voting for the other guy. A guy you may not necessarily like on a personal level. Try not to look at the candidate on a personal level, look at his policies, what he stands for and what you can expect from him. Vote for the book and not so much the cover.
America First is a Bad Idea?
I’d love an explanation from someone who truly believes that placing the well being of the country you live above other countries is a bad idea although you wouldn’t know it when you see what has become of the United States in two very short years. And even with all that, the craziness continues. Senate races that should be a no-brainer for any human being with an iota of common sense are neck and neck. Take John Fetterman for example. Stroke notwithstanding, how he became Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania is beyond any rational thought. Voted in office in 2019 after previously serving as mayor of Braddock. A town so small that most still residing in the town are drug addicts and criminals. A town so rampant with crime, one can purchase a house with a credit card. How the hell did this guy get elected Lieutenant Governor? And now— even after a debilitating stroke— but let’s set aside that fact for a moment and just look at his insane policies. If we go by what he wants to do if elected, it leads one to believe that somewhere around half of the state completely agrees with legalizing all drugs, setting up drug dens across the state, emptying out prisons including murderers, rapists and other violent criminals, abolishing the electoral college, teaching CRT in all schools, packing the Supreme Court, cashless bail for just about all criminals and that’s just what comes to mind at the moment and I don’t even live there! And thank God I don’t!
Is the garbage John Fetterman pushing to Pennsylvanian voters really what the voters of Pennsylvania want or is their hate for Dr. Oz so great, they’re willing to destroy what’s left of their state just so OZ loses. WOW! Talk about cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face because if Fetterman wins, you all in Pennsylvania are stuck with him for the next six years. Think about that. The scary part is, there are John Fetterman types everywhere. Look at most any state controlled by Democrats and you’ll have no problem spotting them. Yet time and time again, the residents of these states continue to vote these people into office even though they have to know what the results will be. One of which will be a mass exodus from that state. Sad comment, isn’t it. I wrote about all this in The Great American Divide.
Why the Left is Terrified of Trump
The following is an excerpt from my article: The Big Con. Answers the question nicely.
You have to ask, why is the Establishment and permanent Washington absolutely terrified at the notion of Trump running for President in 2024? Here’s your answer. But in order to understand the answer, you must first understand why under no circumstances was he allowed a 2nd consecutive term back in 2020. They would make certain of it no matter what price was paid in order to accomplish this. Interesting enough, very little (if any) price was ultimately paid. To the establishment and permanent Washington, their power was waning during Trumps presidency. People were beginning to see the light. Had Trump remained in office for another four years, it would have set them back decades because Trump had momentum with the American public and there is nothing more threatening and dangerous than a President with a final term in office with no concern over being re-elected. Sure, even with constant investigations, he put a few dents in them the first four years but another four with momentum, he could have made some major changes. They had to stop the momentum and to a slight degree, they have— right up until they raided his home. Huge mistake.
The other huge mistake was installing Joe Biden and what has transpired since his installation. One disaster after another. Permanent Washington along with the Establishment know Democrats will lose the House and quite possibly the Senate this year and they can deal with that. The investigations that will immediately begin are of no real concern because as we’ve seen in the past, nothing happens. Nothing changes. They’ll just break out their mountains of lawyers and tie everything they can up in the courts for the rest of Biden’s term (if he doesn’t step down beforehand). They’re totally fine with a lame duck in the White House so republicans can’t do much until 2024 which leads to the answer of why they’re so terrified of Trump.
They know that if Trump runs for President in 2024, he will win. Why do I know this? It’s the same reason why Obama won his two terms. There was no candidate from the Republican side who had a chance in hell against him. McCain? Romney? Seriously? Those two were jokes and had no business running for President. Everyone knew this— including Republicans. Trump on the other hand will win for not only his policies but for at the very least, Democrats have absolutely no candidate who could remotely come close to beating him and there’s no way they can get away with what they got away with in 2020 again. That was a one shot deal. And here’s the kicker. Not only will Trump win in 2024 but Ron DeSantis will be President for the following eight years for a total of twelve consecutive years because of yet another miscalculation the Establishment made. By installing Biden, it gave and is still giving the American Public a taste what it’s like having Democrats run the show. Even more interesting is how they do the math. How can seven out of ten people believe the US is heading in the wrong direction while at the same time, four out of ten believe Biden is doing a good job?
So it’s not so much the people themselves are terrified of Trump, it’s Permanent Washington, all the bureaucracies, the Establishment— you know, the people who really run this country. They are the ones terrified of Trump and they continue to this day to do absolutely everything they can to make sure he doesn’t run for President in 2024 with mainstream media (as their mouthpiece) right behind them.
A Turning Point
I will end this monstrous article with one last thought as you breathe a heavy sigh of relief seeing The Basket of Fish image finally coming into view. How many times do we hear, this election is the most important election you’ll ever vote in. Our Democracy is at stake! Just about every election, right? Most times, it’s said just to entice voters who normally don’t vote in every election to vote in this one. Now I’ve been on this earth for more years than I’d care to admit and this time around, the above statement might just be more true than in the past.
In the last two years, nothing seems to make sense, nothing adds up so to speak. We have 78% of the country believing the US is heading in the wrong direction while at the same time, 40+ % of the country supports it. We all know without a doubt that the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a disaster. We all know without a doubt that cashless bail and the blatant refusal to prosecute violent criminals by DA’s is not only a bad idea but is costing more and more innocent lives every day. We all know without a doubt that FIVE TRILLION in reckless spending voted in solely by Democrats added to our debt is a major contributor to inflation. We know without a doubt that having open borders allowing millions of completely unknown illegal aliens is not only wreaking havoc costing Americans billions but could very well be a massive security risk for our country. We all know without a doubt that teaching CRT, showing eight year old girls how to masturbate and handing out condoms to fifth grade boys while at the same time celebrate young boys and girls watching porn and that it’s OK for young boys to think about sex with older men among many other things is not only pure unadulterated indoctrination but extremely harmful. We all know without a doubt that allowing biological males who identify as females compete in girls sports is flat out wrong. We all know without a doubt that this Country is not at the technological point to replace fossil fuels and won’t be anytime soon and replacing it now with electric vehicles would be a complete disaster and above all else— we all know without a doubt that all of the above has been completely intentional.
So the question remains— if we know all this without a doubt, why would any American support this insanity with their vote? All of the above would not be taking place in the United States if we the people had voted differently. Are Americans that stupid? The answer is— It appears so. Not all mind you, but obviously enough to place us as a nation where we are today. The Biden administration and mainstream media have turned the upcoming midterms into an US verses THEM race spinning narratives, making statements with absolutely no substance or reasoning behind them. Talking about the violence from the right when all I’ve seen year after year are towns boarding up their storefronts just in case those on the left don’t get the outcome they wanted. The only violence I’ve seen are those on the left tearing down statues, looting, rioting and burning stores to the ground. Complain about January 6th all you want but compared to what the left has done over the years as a whole, it was a drop in the bucket.
This time around, yes, I honestly believe we’re at a turning point. If everything we’ve seen take place over the last two years is allowed to continue, when the shit does hit the fan and it most definitely will, it won’t be a pretty sight. Unfortunately— allowing Democrats continued control of Congress and the Presidency will give them unfettered power to cement their agenda to a point where little if anything can be done to change it. You get the government you vote for and if you agree with all I’ve said two paragraphs up then you need to vote and you need to tell others to vote because that’s the only tool you have to stop it.
When you cast your ballot in November, choose wisely— because if you choose poorly, the time it takes to turn your wonderful town, city or state that once was a great place to live and raise a family into a shithole city or state like New York City and Illinois can be measured with an egg timer. In other words…
When you Vote— Don’t be Stupid!
PS: For what it’s worth now that this article is completed— I can say with confidence that this is the longest article I’ve written. In fact, I had to make two extra bookmarks. Hope you enjoyed it. As usual, feel free to comment.
