Foreword
Dreams— A curious lot aren’t they? Some absolutely wonderful, some good and some so disturbing, you do everything you can to wake up in order to escape them. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to write about dreams. But not in some scientific or interpretive way. There are more than enough books, documentaries and articles out there with writers doing their best to convince the curious mind why we have the dreams we have and what it all means.
Not this one. I’ll make no attempts to pull a Sigmund Freud on you suggesting after reading this book, you’ll have no further need of grueling psychotherapy or analysis because you’ll now have the answer to every question you could possibly think of regarding your dreams.
If you’re looking for answers, I can’t help you, but if you’re curious— perhaps reading this will provide you possible commonality. At the very worst, you’ll find this book delightful. Some of you may even breathe a sigh of relief as you come to the conclusion that you’re not nearly as crazy as you thought you were although I’d personally be happy with delightful.
For those of you who are avid readers on basketoffish.com, you’ll find this an interesting deviation from my norm of writing political, social and cultural commentary. With an ever-increasing bottomless pit of topics and issues to choose from, I decided to take a brief left turn and write on a topic we all find interesting in some way or another and place a personal twist on it.
The rest of you who have never heard of your soon to be favorite writer on the aforementioned political, social and cultural commentary, I invite you to visit my site to better understand the previous paragraph.
So, grab your cup of coffee, sit in your favorite chair, put your feet up, relax and enjoy what you’re about to read with the knowledge no judgements will be made (well, next to no judgements will be made, but nothing to stress about.) Might even put a smile or three on your face in the process and when you get to the final page, you’ll close this book thinking to yourself…
Great read.
