Over the past ten years or so, I’ve developed a passion for writing. Creating this website “A Basket of Fish” was to be my outlet in order to share my thoughts to anyone who found value in them whether intrinsically, creatively or intellectually. To me, it really didn’t matter the reason.
Going forward once the site was established, I discovered my passion wasn’t just relegated to articles. I had much more to say that couldn’t be said in a thousand words or two. On top of which, I also discovered the expectations of article readers and book readers were different. Come across a 250 page book and you knew what you were in for. Same with articles. We knew they could be read in a matter of minutes and for the most part, they cost us nothing other than our time. Books on the other hand were/are an investment. Not just of our time but money as well.
While sales of the six books below (so far) offered here on the site have been relatively good, seeing no very costly promotion other than promotion on this site and Truth Social was done— what do they say? Word of mouth is the best advertising. I began with the BOF Book corner. After that…

Both good ideas I thought and have turned out to be helpful. Above all, the primary reason for writing books or just about anything for that matter is for people to read them. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t mind selling a gazillion books but at the end of the day, that’s not the reason I wrote them.
Again, word of mouth is the best advertising so I’ve decided to implement a new idea in order to accomplish this. I’m calling it “FreeReads” and seeing we’re in the month of romance, relationships and valentines, what better book to christen this endeavor than The Instructional Guide.

Below you’ll see links to each book. Find the book you’d like to read and click on the link. Yes, it’s that easy. Each book will be in two parts. Part one[s] will be available to read for the time being after which they’ll be replaced with the part two[s}. Even if you wanted to read all the books, two weeks is plenty of time. Just don’t wait until the last minute.
