Artificial Intelligence—it’s a wonderful thing, isn’t it? At least that’s what we’ve been hearing for the last fifteen to twenty years. And since, some pretty amazing things have taken place. No one can argue that. Documentaries are produced about all the great advancements being made and what we’ll be able to look forward to in the near future. But their picture of the near future is basically relegated to technology. All pretty incredible when compared with our past. With this narrowed view of artificial intelligence, they either intentionally or unintentionally neglect to reveal the big picture which is also most definitely included in the “near future” they keep talking about.
This is the premise of my new book Artificial Intelligence— The Obsoletion of Man. The “big picture” will be revealed. The good, the bad and to some… the ugly. How we got here, where we’re going and what becomes of us along the way. And whether you’re aware of it or not, the “near future” is closer than you think.
In many instances, it’s already here.
