It’s been just about two years since my original article titled: When Republicans Flip the Stupid Switch was published. And it looks like everything I said in that article turned out pretty much the way I predicted although this was an easy prediction to make after witnessing the complete disarray in both the House and the Senate at the time. I do have to give credit where credit is due and acknowledge you (the House) were able to slow the Biden administration down in their goal of damaging the United States further than they already have. For those of you who have yet to read the article linked to above, I invite you to before going further with this one.
As I also said in the original article— American conservatives knew you weren’t going to get a fraction of what you wanted because Democrats had the majority in the Senate and for that, you got a pass. Your House Immigration Bill is just one of many examples. Additionally, I warned that when you achieve a majority in both Houses once again with Trump’s re-election, you damn well better have your shit together well before day one. With Speaker Mike Johnson resuming his role as Speaker of the House, I can only think, so far so good.
That being said, don’t think for a minute you’ve fully redeemed yourselves in the eyes of the American public and it’s for that reason I’ve written this open letter to the Republican majorities in the House and Senate of the United States.
An Open Letter to The House and Senate
To all Republicans serving in the upcoming 119th Congress of the United States. Congratulations on your wins in both Houses of Congress. Since the advent of what is now deemed the worst Presidency in two centuries, those of you serving or are about to serve our country will be standing on the precipice of what the majority of Americans will call The Golden Age of America. Conservatives have patiently waited for four years for this day. This is our time to shine and we have entrusted you to support a President who has been given an overwhelming mandate from we the people to accomplish the monumental task of fixing America in less than four years. His vision, his goals along with his plan to make America great once more by establishing a foundation for the forward and future governing of this great nation are our visions, our goals. He’ll be doing the will of the majority of the citizens of the United States. We were well aware of how he planned on accomplishing this when we voted for the institutional changes he campaigned on.
We have witnessed the devastation one administration has been able to accomplish over the last four years. Eighty percent of Americans have declared this was not the direction we wanted but Biden and his team ignored the will of those he not only works for but is accountable to. Kamala Harris thought all she needed to do was promise more free stuff for our vote and we made it quite clear we weren’t going to buy it. We were sick of the status quo. We were sick of the redistribution of our wealth into the hands of the Big Government Administrative Industrial Complex.
We have a failing government. and by extension, a failing nation. We are failing primarily because of the Biden administration and the decisions Congress have adopted these last four years and yes, this included many republicans as well. Suffice to say your track record hasn’t been that stellar. But you in the 119th Congress have the opportunity to change that and by doing so cement your place along side President Trump as the ones who played a significant role in repairing this damage.
Our soon to be 47th President Donald Trump has made two vows to the American public. First was to get this nation back on the right track in domestic, economic and foreign affairs across the globe but equally important will be to show Americans exactly how deep the corrupt rabbit hole goes. He’ll accomplish this by way of his cabinet which is what big government fear the most.
No matter what you think you know due to think-tanks in Washington pounding what their big government ideology should be into your heads, the bottom line is that Americans vote for what we believe is right for this country, not them. Right now, the majority of us believe it’s President Trump. We gave you, the republicans the majority in both houses and by doing so, we don’t just expect— we demand that you do your jobs in clearing the way in Congress in order to fulfill the promises he made which includes confirming those he has chosen to help him bring said promises to fruition. You may not understand or possibly agree with him on his choices but he chose them for a reason.
Trump said the best revenge is success and he is crystal clear in the way he intends on making America successful again. Make no mistake— much of his success (especially in his first 100 days) he’ll be able to accomplish with nothing more than the stroke of his pen. What you do in your first 100 days as the majority in both Houses of Congress legislatively will be the most telling of all. Should you fail in your support, President Trump will have no problem calling you out on this in the midterms when you’re primaried and lose your seat to another Republican. You have two choices, be part of the remedy or part of what needs to be remedied.
Let me be clear. America itself is not a failing nation. We are a nation ruled by a failed Government along with many of our institutions. One of Trump’s vows was to right this sinking ship by stripping away unnecessary and unwanted fat filled with blatant corruption that has grown Government so large, it’s no longer sustainable. Americans can no longer afford to feed it’s voracious appetite. The political social disease that has slowly plagued and sickened our Country over the last generation is in desperate need of a cure. The writing has been on the wall for decades and Trump has been the only man brave enough to call this out for what it has become and attempt to rectify that which he knows is the true injustice facing our nation today.
Trump also knows it costs next to nothing to destroy most anything but can be very expensive to repair or rebuild completely. A price most Americans are more than willing to pay and that price is paid primarily and most importantly with our votes. If we have learned nothing over the last four years, let this be one lesson we never forget.
Democrats, the Left and Mainstream media will fight tooth and nail in order to stop or slow to a crawl this necessary transformation by President Trump with lies and endless propaganda. The last thing he needs are Republicans in Congress joining in that misguided effort like many of you did during his first term. If Republicans in the House and Senate do anything to hamper this mandate given to President Trump by the people of America in making America great again, I guarantee you, this will be your final term in office. Our soon to be 47th President must be allowed to do the job the majority of Americans mandated and in the way he’s told Americans on countless occasions how it will be done. The majority of Americans have their utmost faith in President Trump, it’s time you do as well.
The Republican Establishment Party of Bush is long dead and buried. There is no going back to it. If it hadn’t been for Trump along with his policies, Republicans would have been hard pressed to get any of their candidates elected. Love him or hate him, he is the glue that holds the Republican Party together. He is the only one who keeps the Republican Party afloat instead of sinking into the political abyss. Your lack of support in what President Trump wants to accomplish in four short years will be remembered by the ones who voted you into office in two much shorter years.
Do so at your Political peril
