It will be different this time—
How many times have we heard that from the media, politicians, even friends and family. It will be different this time. Only to conclude a month or two after appointments for Attorney General and the FBI Director were confirmed— nope, not this time. Same old shit.
You could go back around 20 years and it’s always the same. Was it any different? Alberto Gonzales? Nope. Michael Mukasey? Never heard of the guy so I’ll take that as a nope. Eric Holder? Definite nope. Loretta Lynch? Nope. Jeff Sessions? Worthless. Bill Barr? There were high hopes for Bill but alas, another disappointment. And Merrick Garland? He was one of the worst which is difficult to say seeing as none of them were any good. Next we have the FBI—
Christopher Wray? Nope. Andrew McCabe? Still surprised he’s not in jail. Definitely a nope on that one. Same goes with James B. Comey as well though I will add it was during his tenure as FBI Director which brought about the complete lack of trust from the American Public. Robert Mueller I hear was decent though I don’t know much about the man. That is until his mind began slipping during the “Russia Russia Russia” hoax so I’m going to have to place him in the nope column as well.
The new question is— will it finally be different with Pam Bondi as U.S. Attorney General and Kash Patel as Director of the FBI? Will there finally be real accountability in Washington DC? For the first time in many years, I’m optimistic there will be especially when you hear everyone in DC including the elite are in panic mode. It appears internet search words from the area include (for financial terms) “Swiss bank,” “offshore bank,” “wire money,” and “IBAN” have spiked. Additionally there was a surge in search terms such as “Criminal Defense Lawyer” and “RICO Laws”.
Needless to say, Trump’s election found a whole lot of people shaking in their boots. And it wasn’t so much about Trump per say but more about who he planned on nominating for U.S. Attorney General and FBI Director. Matt Gaetz was a long-shot under the best of circumstances so it came as no surprise when he withdrew. Pam Bondi was an excellent choice. She was going to do what so many before her failed to do. At least that’s what we all hoped and from what we’ve seen so far, it looks like she will.
But she’ll require a partner who will be a bull-dog of an investigator instead of allowing all the shit that’s been going on in D.C. quietly slip away through the cracks only to be brought up years later after all criminal statute of limitations have expired. Kash Patel is that bull-dog. He is the reason many in DC appear to be looking into leaving the U.S. for countries with no extradition laws and all those search terms listed above. If they do (whoever they are,) I doubt we’ll hear about it. Just to look at the man gives one the impression he doesn’t take shit from anyone questioning his honesty or character. Case in point was during his confirmation hearing answering questions from Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar.
I don’t know about you, but I find it doubtful he gives a rat’s ass what any of those members think about him. Personally or professionally. In fact, perhaps its they who are concerned about what he thinks about them as he breaks out his microscope.
This article wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t add Elon Musk and his Doge-boys to the dream team. After already finding billions in waste, abuse and fraud, see website here, it’s the fraud that will be the focus of Patel and Bondi. Since being in office for such a short time, I’m not looking for anything immediate from either of them, but you can take it to the bank there will be headlines with what these three individuals eventually find with indictments soon to follow. We’ve already heard enough with what’s been going on in government in just a few short weeks. Personally, just using the words waste, fraud and a abuse of taxpayer money isn’t enough and doesn’t describe how potentially criminal much of this is when we hear how deep this waste, fraud and a abuse rabbit hole goes— they need to preface each word with “intentional” because in essence, that’s what it is.
The Year of Lawyer
If there were ever a time for lawyers in the DC area, now is that time. They must believe they’ve died and gone to heaven. On the one hand you have hundreds of liberal lawyers out Judge shopping in their effort to slow down just about everything having to do with President Trump’s agenda. Even though knowing they will eventually lose, it was never the goal to begin with. I’ve said it many times over the years. It’s all about getting issues tied up in courts for as long as humanly possible. Delay, delay delay.
On the other hand— there are most likely an equal amount (if not more) liberals/Democrats who themselves are reaching into their pockets, or taking out second home mortgages in order to pay legal retainer fees. Many are probably feeling the heat now as it’s simply a matter of time. For some, that time is growing shorter by the day.
I wrote an article last year titled 2025: When the Shit Hits the Fan. Seeing it’s now 2025, break out the popcorn because—
The Shit is About to.
